Count Your Blessings!

My sister in law was given a suggestion by a friend to post something that you are thankful for everyday from now until the end of November. I love the idea so I am doing it too and am encouraging each of you to do it as well. What a wonderful opportunity to count our blessings!!!

Today I am feeling enormous gratitude to be an American! I know that may be a sore subject for many of us given the current circumstances, yet I have forever been and I imagine always will be a patriot. This truly is the land that I love! I love the various landscapes and seasons. I LOVE its history. I love the Constitution and Declaration of Independence! I love the freedoms that we enjoy or at least that we are suppose to be able to enjoy.

I love placing my hand over my heart and reciting the Pledge of Allegiance or singing the Star Spangled Banner! I love our founders. I LOVE the Fourth of July (especially in my home town!)!!! I love My Country Tis of Thee! Let Freedom Ring!!!

Sweet land of liberty,

of Thee I sing;

Land where my fathers died,

Land of the pilgrims pride,

From every mountain side

Land of the noble free,
